Security and administration

Operational access without surrendering operational control.

FieldWarden is designed for organizations that need field usability, administrative separation, identity integration, accountability, and recoverable operations in the same platform.

SECURITY AS AN OPERATING DISCIPLINE

Controls that support the work instead of merely decorating a compliance page.

FieldWarden security combines application controls with deployment responsibilities. The platform can provide roles, audit, identity integration, configuration protection, and health visibility. The customer environment remains responsible for infrastructure, account governance, endpoint security, backups, and administrative practice.

Identity and authentication

Support controlled access through local administration and Microsoft Entra ID integration, with enterprise identity policies enforced by the customer environment.

Role-based authorization

Assign access according to operational responsibility so owners, administrators, office staff, crew leaders, and technicians do not receive identical authority.

Audit and activity history

Preserve accountability for significant administrative and operational actions through audit records and asset activity history.

Integration health

Expose the status of external providers and configuration dependencies instead of allowing silent failures to become operational folklore.

Data protection

Use secure transport, controlled database access, application configuration separation, and customer-managed infrastructure protections.

Backup and recovery

Support documented backup, restore, upgrade, and disaster-recovery procedures as part of deployment administration.

01

Access follows responsibility

FieldWarden uses role-based controls to separate ownership, administration, office operations, crew leadership, and field responsibilities. Organizations can limit access to sensitive configuration and financial or administrative functions while keeping field workflows usable.

02

Identity can remain centralized

Enterprise deployments can use Microsoft Entra ID for organizational sign-in. MFA, conditional access, account lifecycle, and device policies remain governed through the customer’s Microsoft environment.

03

Administrative actions leave evidence

Audit records support investigation, accountability, and operational review. Additional history is preserved for jobs, assets, equipment custody, integrations, documents, and other significant workflow events.

04

External dependencies remain visible

Health checks and integration status pages help administrators identify expired credentials, missing configuration, failed communication providers, or unavailable services before users invent six contradictory explanations.

05

Recovery is an operational requirement

FieldWarden deployment guidance includes backups, restore validation, upgrades, worker processes, cron jobs, and disaster recovery. Availability and recovery targets are defined during deployment rather than implied by cheerful marketing.

SECURITY BOUNDARIES

Clear claims are better than magical claims.

FieldWarden does not claim that installing software automatically creates compliance. Security outcomes depend on deployment architecture, identity configuration, patching, database controls, backups, monitoring, endpoint protection, user administration, and organizational procedure.

SECURITY QUESTIONS

What buyers and administrators usually ask first.

Microsoft Entra ID sign-in is supported for appropriately configured deployments and is planned as an Enterprise capability.

MFA is enforced by the connected identity provider, such as Microsoft Entra ID. Local authentication controls depend on the deployment configuration.

Production deployments should use TLS for data in transit and database or storage encryption appropriate to the hosting environment. Exact protections depend on the deployment architecture.

The platform contains audit and activity-history capabilities for significant operational and administrative actions. Coverage will continue to expand during hardening.

No blanket compliance claim is made. FieldWarden can support controls and evidence, but organizational compliance depends on the full technical and administrative environment.
